Memphis Byhalia Pipeline
In March of this year, NewsNation sent Crewsouth to Memphis, Tennessee to film an in-depth story on the ongoing legal battle regarding a crude oil pipeline that was to be installed through Southwest Memphis. National Correspondent, Michael Shure, provided a deep dive into the story by speaking with local environmental activists and community members about the impact they believe the pipeline would have on Memphis. With the use of our in house LiveU unit, we were able to send daily footage back to NewsNation headquarters in Chicago; as well as, produce several live shots for primetime network shows directly from Beale Street in Memphis.
